Trading Window |
Description The Trading Window is the main window for trading where you will have the full overview of all your orders, trades and the portfolios you have access to. You can define the behavior of this window in the section Trading Settings. How to accessSelect Trading from the main menu. When the login window appears you must type the login and password provided by your broker. Note: This is not the same login as the program log in.When you are successfully logged on the Trading Window appears. OrdersThe orders tab shows the status of all your orders. An order can be either active or inactive; an inactive order is not sent to the marketplace, while an active order is sent to the marketplace. As soon as the order is activated it’s sent to the exchange. The right click menu in the Order folder allows you to activate, modify, view or delete an order, or insert a new order. Edit ColumnsIn order to edit the column layout, right click on the column headings and select Field Chooser. Keep Deleted OrdersShow deleted orders by switching on the setting in Trading settings. TradesTrades displays all trades for the selected portfolio (usually only intraday is available). Net tradesNet trades will accumulate all buy and sell orders and show the net volume and values of all buy and sell orders per symbol. PortfolioPortfolio shows positions in the currently selected portfolio. Portfolio values such as Trading power, market value, total invested etc. are retrieved from the trading service. There may be more values shown depend on what the trading service supports. LogAll communication between Infront and the trading services are logged in the "log" tab. To copy the log files, use the window tool menu > edit > copy, then paste the log to a text editor such as notepad. <My Orders Only>If you have access to multiple Portfolios, "My orders only" displays only orders and trades made by your trading login. Connection StatusIf the connection to your broker is lost, the status icon in the upper right corner will notify you. Read more. |
