Merged Fundamental Columns

Top  Previous  Next

Description

Some of the available columns in the SME Direkt Level 1 package and the FactSet package are equivalent. The actual result columns should be the same, while the estimate values may vary between the two services.

If you have access to both packages, some companies with have actual result and estimate values from both services. To reduce the number of columns, you can choose to use so-called Merged fundamental columns instead of the specific FactSet and SME Direkt columns.

A Merged column will display values from SME Direkt when available, otherwise it will display values from FactSet.

Data content included per company as merged columns are:

Net Sales
EBITDA
EBIT
Net Profit
EPS (Earnings per share)
DPS (Dividends per share)
P/E (Price / Earnings)
Yield Percent
Last year’s reported result
Next year’s estimated numbers (median)

This means that the key figures that are specific to SME Direkt are:

Gross Profit
EBITA
Pretax Result
Recommendations

And the key figures that are specific to FactSet are:

CFPS (Cash-flow per share)
P/CF (Price / Cash-flow)
Recommendations

TIP: Even if you have only access to one of the services at this point, using the merged columns will ensure that you'll see the values from the new service should you order it in the future.

Requirements
