Export to Metastock

Metastock is a popular charting package from Equis International. The exported symbol data can converted to a Metastock  file format in "The Downloader". The Downloader is a product which is shipped along with Metastock. After the symbol data is exported to a file, start The Downloader, select "Tools" in the main menu and select "Convert" in the drop down menu. Make sure the file type is set to "Ascii Text" and then enter the filename of the exported file (click on the "Browse" button). Click on "Ok" and then type in the ticker symbol in the next dialog. After the file is converted it can be opened in the Metastock chart application by selecting "File" and then "Open".
