Typing in 25M will fill in the Buy/Sell section with an amount of 25,000,000. Setting up broken date schedules is now easier - user can use different date codes to define a date or add a certain period to a current date.
Consolidated data In the 5.7 release the consolidated data has been given a lift, both visually and content wise. Consolidated orderbook has been given a new, slimmed down and space reducing look. Main concept of the consolidated orderbook is easy access to a true picture of the fragmented equity markets. User has access to a consolidated orderbook from a regular orderbook by pressing the ∑ button in the bottom right corner of an orderbook.
Consolidated orderbook not only gives a comprehensive view over where and how a stock is trading, but also gives real time statistics on traded volume distribution. Coloured bars in the consolidated orderbook represent traded volume in % on each venue. This feature takes both real time and delayed data in its calculation in order for the user to actually get the full true picture of how fragmented the equity markets are today. This information can be complemented with an additional bar showing the intra day order volume distribution in the order book setup.
User also has the ability to quickly get a break down overview of where the liquidity is at any given moment by hitting the plus sign on the left side of the instrument name in the top summary bar:
Auction Surplus Infront terminal now supports the display of any imbalance volume in an opening or closing auction on the following exchanges; Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm & Oslo. The Nasdaq OMX volumes are supported by the exchange while Infront calculates the estimated imbalance volume on the Oslo Stock Exchange. More exchanges will be added to this service. Screen shot below shows the current imbalance in an orderbook, it is 3 835 shares more offered than what will actually uncross in the auction. Uncrossing volume being 412 900.
The feature is enabled under the Visual preferences in in the Orderbook setup.
Quick order entry The 5.7 version introduces a tighter and more space compact alternative to the standard order entry window. The setting is enabled in the Visual preferences in the Orderbook Setup by unchecking the Show orderbook box. Once this setting has been activated the feature can be toggled on/off by pressing F9.
